Carissa Meng is an abstract painting artist and poet living in Auckland. 

Her artwork has been acquired by collectors and institutions in New Zealand, Australia, mainland China, and Hong Kong. 

Carissa is also the author of four books of poetry which helps to guide her creativity, while painting she often listens to music which enables her to be emotionally guided by the passion and melody. 

The images underbrush and pen capture the wonderful fusion of contemporary art with oriental poetry. Carissa presents the reverberation of time, life, and emotions in nature through her paintings and poems.
